Full-time Resource Protection Manager

at Tinicum Conservancy in Pennsylvania

The Tinicum Conservancy is seeking an experienced individual who will lead our stewardship program and help us as we advance both an active and increasingly professional stewardship program. Job responsibilities include working closely with our team of dedicated volunteers to oversee all aspects of our stewardship program including monitoring, outreach to landowners, responding to landowner inquiries related to their easements, working closely with our conservation partners and strengthening our overall stewardship program.

The Conservancy oversees 89 conservation easements totaling 3,682 acres in a rural part of Bucks County, PA on the Delaware River. The township is home to extensive forest, high quality streams, picturesque farms, and less than 5,000 residents. The Conservancy receives strong support from local residents, government leaders and conservation partners. In addition, a team of active volunteers, two staff and eight board members, have helped the Conservancy develop a highly successful conservation record.

The ideal candidate will have a mixture of strong professional and educational experience that will allow them to quickly become a program leader. Please email Jim Engel, at tinicumconserv@epix.net for a full job description.
